Find out more about the Old Library Campaign

We need your support to create a new arts hub at the Old Library

We are asking you and everyone we know to help us reopen the historic Old Library as a new creative space for our community so that we can continue to transform lives through the arts.

Our creative participation work provides a lifeline to many local people and is more vital now than ever before:

  • Reducing social isolation and loneliness within our community

  • Improving mental health locally

  • Supporting young people in building confidence and self-esteem

But currently it takes place in a temporary shared space and desperately needs a new permanent home.

The Old Library is the perfect new space and once complete will have dedicated engagement spaces, a small Café Bar and places to gather – benefiting more and more local people with the positive impact that participation in creative activity can have.
