Priority

Led by Claire from Tone and Poise, this Accessible Pilates course focuses on developing strength, confidence and movement in a supportive environment.

Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise designed to strengthen muscles, improve posture, mobility and flexibility, and help you move more comfortably and efficiently in everyday life. This course is particularly suited to beginners, those returning to exercise after a long break, or anyone looking to gradually rebuild strength and fitness following injury.

What to bring:
Bring a bottle of water along with you, and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

What to expect:
Our Accessible Pilates sessions will have a range of options offered throughout each exercise so you can work at a level that feels right for you. Chairs will be used as an aid where needed, providing extra support and stability and helping you adapt exercises to suit your individual needs.

There’s no need to be experienced or particularly flexible, everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace.

Benefits:
Pilates can help improve posture, core strength, mobility and flexibility, while developing greater body awareness, balance and control. The aim is to help you feel stronger, more confident and comfortable in your body, with movement that supports you in everyday life.
