BUMP comes to Newbury for an early performance ahead of its official premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2027.
Following development from Natal Attraction (winner of the 2026 Applause Bursary and a sold-out Brighton Fringe run), this new full‑length version receives a limited number of early dates before its Edinburgh debut.
Maeve is about to have a baby. But does she actually want one? On the eve of her C‑section, the spirit of her gynaecologist, Dr Marley, appears with a whirlwind of vivid women, and Maeve is forced to confront the truth she’s been avoiding. But will it be too late?
Hilarious, honest and quietly devastating, BUMP reveals the fears, desires and private thoughts women rarely say out loud.
Audiences have called it 'funny, tender, acutely observed and beautifully acted.'
Performance Time: 7.30pm
Duration: 55 minutes (no interval)
Age Guide: 12+
