July's Line-Up:

Olga Koch

Olga Koch does stand-up comedy onstage and creates cathartic performance art in the privacy of her own home. She was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018, Best Show at Leicester Comedy Festival in 2020, and longlisted for Best Stand-Up Show at the National Comedy Awards in 2021.

She has also appeared on Mock the Week (BBC Two), QI (BBC Two), Frankie Boyle's New World Order (BBC Two), Late Night Mash (Dave), Richard Osman's House of Games (BBC Two), Guessable (Comedy Central), Question Team (Dave) and your dad's search history. Her audio work includes the Radio 4 special Fight, the Radio 4 series OK Computer and the Human Error podcast on BBC Sounds.

Erika Ehler

Erika’s razor-sharp, dark and visceral writing paired with precise delivery makes her one of the most exciting young comedians on the circuit.  She has quickly become a much-in-demand writer and comedian working on numerous high-profile shows.

In 2019, she was crowned winner of the Chortle Student Comedy Award, was the recipient of the Mike Craig Comedy Award, and the Hot Water Roast Battle Champion. She has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Latitude Festival, and the Toronto Sketch Festival. Erika has recently written for the upcoming fourth
series of Comedy Central’s Roast Battle.

Ali Woods

Ali Woods is a half-English, half-Scottish comedian, podcaster and content creator. Fresh off his first sold-out show at the Edinburgh Fringe this year, Ali is a refreshing mix of the ‘every man’ and the ‘modern man’, whose sensitivity and genuine interest in men’s mental health gives him a great perspective on the modern ‘lad’ culture which often features in his comedy. Ali is that wonderful blend of comedy with a heart, speaking on topics such as football, the environment, and many social causes close to his heart.

Ali won Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2020 and has appeared on BBC Radio 4, TalkRadio, TalkSport alongside hosting his own podcast All I Do Is Fail. His online comedy sketches under the tag @aliwoodsgigs have gained millions of views and likes, and featured on LadBible and Buzzfeed UK. Many of Ali’s followers found him after he supported Russell Kane on tour in 2022.

Kate Martin

At 6ft 1, with the longest wingspan in comedy (*probably), Kate’s a naturally engaging, energetic performer with effortlessly tight gags to match. Her unique background in mental health has given her a fresh take on the world, and a completely distinctive voice, and fuels her high-energy storytelling, whip-smart punchlines and razor-sharp observations of life's quirks through queer eyes.

‘Bulletproof’ (Steve Bennett, Chortle)

'She's definitely got funny bones' (Bruce Dessau, Beyond the Joke)

Kate Martin is ‘brilliantly funny & energetic’ (Angela Barnes) and her ‘confident delivery and slick material’ (Chortle) have quickly established her as one of the most exciting acts on the circuit. Kate was a finalist of the Funny Women Stage Awards 2022, runner-up in the finals of the WDCF New Comedian of the Year competition 2021, and in 2021 won the Comedy Store’s King Gong, Up the Creeks Blackout, and the Frog and Bucket’s Beat the Frog.

Performance time: 8pm

Age Guide: 18+
