Sell-out sensation KAREN storms Newbury!
After a 100% sell-out tour spanning Edinburgh Fringe, London's The Other Palace, Underbelly and Seven Dials, Birmingham's Old Joint Stock and Chichester Festival Theatre, KAREN is back!
It's our heroine's 30th birthday. She's at Alton Towers, Calippo in hand, when her long-term boyfriend Joe dumps her. Happy birthday, babe!
Things only get worse when Joe starts dating her office arch-nemesis: Karen. Cue workplace warfare, romantic humiliation and a spectacularly ill-timed identity crisis.
Shattering the fourth wall, KAREN hurtles through heartbreak and the glorious mess of starting over, armed with biting sarcasm, simmering female rage and absolutely no intention of taking the high road.
Hailed as 'Fleabag meets Peep Show' (Operation Live Theatre) and 'hugely relatable and extremely funny' (The Stage), KAREN is a fast-paced, character-driven comedy about heartbreak, identity and the unbearable pressure to have your life together.
Because sometimes finding your voice means losing your mind first.
Performance Time: 7.30pm
