NT Connections: Wildfire

The Corn Exchange Intermediate Youth Theatre takes to the stage.

Connections, the National Theatre’s annual youth festival, commissions new plays each year to showcase young talent and unite emerging writers with future theatre-makers.

Wildfire by Oliver Emanuel and Victoria Beesley follows a group of teenagers whose lives are suddenly upended when a fast-moving wildfire devastates their village. The play explores the shock of losing home, the strength of community, and the power young people have to make change.
