Learn to sketch what you see and experience, from café environments to detailed urban environments, including buildings and people.
Over the course of six sessions, you will draw what you see, you will see further and develop your style, discover light and shadows, depths and layers, record movement and people, and deal with complexity in sketching.
Our tutor, professional artists Isabel Carmona is an experienced urban sketcher living in Newbury and author of Urban Sketching – an Artist guide.
Each session is tailored to one topic so they can be taken individually or as a set.
Duration: 10am - 1pm
Course dates: Wednesdays & Saturdays, 3 – 21 Aug
Presented as part of our Ageing Creatively programme for ages 55+.
All tickets must be booked in advance.
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
