Renowned for discovering and nurturing comedy’s next big stars, Avalon has played a key role in launching the careers of household names like Chris Addison, Rob Delaney, and Phil Wang. With a stellar reputation for finding the funniest new talent, they’re now bringing the next wave of top comedians straight to your doorstep.

Join us for a relaxed evening where you can grab a drink, unwind, and enjoy the comedic brilliance of our September line-up. This month, we’re thrilled to present four more comedians hot off the circuit:

Rachel Fairburn

Whose sharp and clever humor has won over audiences worldwide. She’s been a finalist in top competitions like Funny Women and English Comedian of the Year. Co-host of the hit podcast All Killa No Filla, Rachel boasts over 250,000 listeners and has toured the UK and USA. She is a regular at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe since 2014 with six acclaimed solo shows, and has also appeared on TV shows like Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, House of Games, and Russell Howard Hour Life Lessons.

Daman Bamrah

A British-Sikh comic making waves on the London circuit with his sharp writing, clever observations, and engaging storytelling. Known for his unique blend of crafted jokes and charm, he’s performed at top venues like Angel Comedy Club and Up The Creek.

Susan Riddell

With her distinctive and inventive comedy that keeps everyone on their toes. After winning a place in BBC Writer’s Room Fast and Funny, Susan Riddell went on to write, create and star in several online comedy sketches for BBC Short Stuff which have garnered nearly 3 million views and counting. Susan recently performed stand-up at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in both CKP’s Lunchtime Special and the BBC Presents Comedy Tent.

Ed Kear

Whose energetic and engaging style promises a fresh take on stand-up. Alongside his comedy career, Ed has appeared in major films like The Batman, Cruella, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and Spy, as well as British comedies like BBC’s Ghosts, ITV’s Plebs, and BBC’s Crims as Black Elton John. Most recently, he has starred in the Marvel Hollywood blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine.
