Meet the cast of Cinderella: Rachel Breeze
Next we caught up with our ensemble cast member Rachel Breeze. As an Australian, this will be Rachel's first pantomime and she is looking forward to taking part in the British tradition.
Have you been in a pantomime before? What is your favourite thing about performing in one?
Cinderella will be my first pantomime experience! I am so excited to bring such a well-known tale to life and to be back on stage after the pandemic.
Do you have any memories of being taken to see pantomimes as a child?
As an Aussie, pantomime is very new to me as it's a very British tradition. I have heard so many friends speak about fond childhood memories so I can't wait to be involved.
Do you have any Christmas traditions?
Christmas is really hot in Australia so the tradition is to go to the beach and have a barbeque! Might be a bit too cold for that this year so I might eat lots of mince pies instead.
What is your favourite Christmas song?
The High-5 Christmas album is amazing, but if I had to pick a favourite I would say Santa Wear Your Shorts!
