Outdoor Shows: Booking and visitor information

This information will be updated as government and industry guidance changes.

Book with confidence:
We want you to feel confident about booking in advance for our events. It is very important that people displaying symptoms of COVID-19 do not come to events so, if you are unwell with coronavirus symptoms or having to self-isolate, please phone the Box Office and we will arrange for the value of your tickets to be credited to your account or refunded, as long as you tell us in advance of the performance time.

Booking tickets:

Tickets must be booked in advance and we are asking customers to select an e-ticket if possible.
This means that your ticket can be scanned on arrival, reducing the need for contact with our staff when they check tickets. If you are unable to book an e-ticket, please speak to our Box Office team.

Bookings must be for no more than 6 individuals (or two households).
Online bookings are limited to a maximum of 6 tickets. If you are making a booking for two households and require more than 6 tickets please contact the Box Office and they will assist with your booking.

In accordance with Government regulations, sectors including leisure, entertainment and hospitality are legally obliged to have a system in place to request and record contact details of their customers, visitors and staff. Anyone in your party aged 16 or over will be asked to scan the Test and Trace QR code or to record their contact details with us.

Social distancing:
We have limited the number of people admitted to each event and spaces will be left between groups.

Your visit:

Before your visit, please make sure you are feeling well and not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

Having booked in advance and chosen an e-ticket, please either print this out or have it ready on a smartphone or tablet when you arrive at the event to present to our contactless scanner. Please remember to bring your face covering with you to wear on arrival and when moving around the site. You may remove it when you have taken your seat. Visitors will need to adhere to social distancing rules so please keep a suitable space between yourself and other visitors, staff members and volunteers at all times.

Each event will have different options for seating, depending on the show and the venue. Some events will require you to bring your own picnic blanket or camping chair and for others we will provide bench seating. Please check carefully that you are selecting an option that suits your requirements and please do let us know of any access needs when you make your booking.

Please be aware that some of the venues, such as Welford Park and the Nature Discovery Centre, are on uneven terrain and there may be distance to walk from the car park.

Can I bring food and drink with me?

You may bring drinks and snacks with you. If you are bringing alcoholic drinks with you, please drink responsibly and be considerate to our other visitors. Please remember to leave the venue as you found it and take all litter home with you. Refreshments will be available to purchase at some of our outdoor venues. Please check our website for details.

Can I bring my dog with me?

We are only able to admit assistance dogs to our events. Please let our team know when you book if you will be coming with an assistance dog.

What happens if I am unwell or self-isolating?

If you are unwell with COVID-19 symptoms or have been told that you need to self-isolate so are no longer able to attend an event you have booked for, please contact the Box Office and a transfer, credit or refund for the full value of the tickets will be offered, as long as you inform us in advance of the performance time.

What happens in the case of bad weather?
As is always the case with the good old British summer, the weather can be unpredictable. This programme of work has been designed to be performed outdoors so we plan to go ahead in inclement weather. Please dress appropriately for the conditions with suitable footwear and clothing and remember to bring sunscreen, hats and water as appropriate. If the weather is such that a performance cannot go ahead due to health and safety concerns, our Box Office team will contact you with more information about whether a rescheduled performance will be possible or to arrange a refund or credit to your Corn Exchange account for the value of your tickets.

If you have any questions about your booking or visit, please contact our Front of House Team, either by e-mailing boxoffice@cornexchangenew.co.uk or call 0845 5218 218. Calls cost 2p per minute plus your telephone company’s access charge.
