Q&A with Abby Fell

Our next panto cast member in the spotlight is Abby Fell who is part of our Beauty and the Beast Ensemble. Abby tells us how this is her first ever pantomime and all about the performances she's most looking forward to.

Have you been in a pantomime before? If so, which one(s) and what is your favourite thing about performing in one?

I have not performed in a pantomime before so this is all very exciting!!

Is there a specific performance night that you are looking forward to the most?

I think the opening and closing night will be special, the Adult Nights will be super fun and I think Christmas Eve will be absolutely buzzing!

Do you have any pre-show rituals to help you get into character?

Not really, I make a little routine for each character/show I’m in so it’s different every time.

Do you have any Christmas traditions?

I have lots of Christmas Eve traditions with my mum where we always watch The Snowman, make hot chocolates, do some baking and go to our local christingle!

What is your favourite Christmas song?

It’s got to be One More Sleep by Leona Lewis!!

What’s your favourite Christmas film?

The Santa Clause

Are you looking forward to spending the festive season in Newbury?

Absolutely! It looks like a lovely place and I’m sure it’ll be sparkling when the Christmas lights are on!
