Each week, the Corn Exchange is releasing a Summer Arts Week Challenge with arts activities linked to the national curriculum.

This week, your arts challenge is based around photography.

EYFS Maths (Shape, Size and Measure)

Take a photo of:

Something small

Something big

Something short

Something tall

Something light

Something heavy

Extra challenge: take a photo of something the same weight as you.

KS1 Science (Plants)

Take a photo of:

A leaf

A stem

A flower

A plant’s roots

A tree trunk

A seed

Extra challenge: take a photo of a plant bulb.

KS2 PSHE (Similarities and Differences)

Take a photo of:

Something in a language different to your own

Someone who looks different to you

Someone who looks similar to you

Something from a different country

Something from the past

Something that looks futuristic

Extra challenge: take a photo of an inanimate object that looks like you.

KS3 Citizenship

Take a photo of:

Something related to politics

Something related to your local government

Something related to climate change

Extra challenge: take a photo of what citizenship means to you.
