Raising Wellbeing Warriors
This summer the Corn Exchange Newbury is running a free online course for parents and carers, Raising Wellbeing Warriors, which will look at ways they can support the wellbeing of their families.
Starting on Tuesday 18 August, this six-week course of digital workshops will offer support, creative activities and information on the different areas of wellbeing - physical, mental, emotional, social and educational - with a particular emphasis on the impact of Covid-19 and lockdown.
The sessions take place in the evening via Zoom and will be led by the Corn Exchange’s Early Years and Education Officer, with specialists joining to deliver workshops on dance, nutrition, first aid and yoga. Raising Wellbeing Warriors has been kindly supported by Berkshire Community Fund and is suitable for parents and carers of children aged 4 – 11 years. It runs from Tuesday 18 August to Tuesday 22 September and is free to join.
