The Corn Exchange is delighted to say 'The bar is open!'

From Wednesday 7 October, we will be able to serve you your favourite alcoholic drinks at your table Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm until close.

Under current regulations, alcohol can only be purchased and consumed at a table, so we will be operating a table service in our Balcony Bar from 5pm. Tables will be available on a first come first served basis and please arrive in plenty of time to order and enjoy your drinks before you go in to watch the film or performance. Unfortunately drinks cannot be removed from the tables and therefore cannot be taken into the auditorium or cinema.

If you have had the use of a table for pre-show drinks, you will also be given the opportunity to pre-order your alcoholic interval drinks so you can return and use the table to enjoy your refreshments.

When the tables upstairs are fully occupied, other guests are able to use the downstairs bar for hot drinks, soft drinks and snacks to take away to their seats. For shows with an interval, we advise pre-ordering your interval refreshments when you arrive. We will prepare them and they will be waiting for you to collect so you do not need to join the queue at the downstairs bar.
