Unlock your creativity this autumn!

We are embarking on an exciting new season of theatre workshops perfect for young people, set to begin this September at the Learning Centre. Whether you're child is a budding performer, an aspiring director, or simply looking to build confidence through drama, there’s a lot to get involved with in our exciting programme of classes.

LAMDA Examination Classes (Mondays, 22 Sep - 1 Dec)
Perfect for young performers looking to challenge themselves, our LAMDA classes offer the opportunity to work towards this nationally recognised qualification. With expert guidance, students will develop their voice, movement, and performance technique, all while building skills in public speaking and self-expression.

Specialist Theatre Masterclass Series (Fridays, 26 Sep, 17 Oct & 14 Nov)
Bringing together industry professionals to deliver high-quality, focused workshops for young people aged 16 to 25, each session explores a specialist area of performance or theatre, from planning and directing to physical theatre and audition techniques! Whether you're child is aspiring for a career in the arts or exploring a new creative outlet, these one-off masterclasses are not to be missed.

Youth Theatre (23 Sep - 6 Dec, times and dates vary)
Our thriving Youth Theatre groups are ideal for anyone from reception to Year 12 who loves drama! With weekly sessions tailored to different age groups, young people will learn to collaborate, create original work and develop performance skills in a supportive and fun environment. It’s the perfect place to build confidence and make new friends.

HomeEd sessions: Junior Drama (Thursdays, 25 Sep - 4 Dec)
Designed specifically for home-educated children aged 7 to 14, these daytime drama sessions offer a creative, social and structured environment to explore storytelling and performance. Participants will work on exciting drama games, improvisation and scenes, while developing communication and teamwork skills.

All workshops take place at the Learning Centre, just a short walk from Corn Exchange Newbury. Classes are led by experienced, friendly facilitators who are passionate about inspiring the next generation of performers and creatives.
