Handy tips: Remember to bring your face covering

Please remember to bring your face covering when you visit the Corn Exchange.

In accordance with government regulations, it is mandatory to wear a face covering when visiting our theatre, cinema, gallery and learning centre, unless you are exempt.

Before entering the Corn Exchange, please remember to put on your face covering. It can be any style, but it should fit securely around the side of your face and cover both your nose and mouth.

As a business, we must promote compliance with the law so our team will remind you to put it on when you arrive. If you have forgotten to bring a face covering with you, we have some available in return for a small donation.

You will need to keep the face covering on when watching a film or performance. If you remove it to have a drink or snack, please replace it when you have finished.

If you are joining us in the Café Bar areas to eat or drink, you may remove your face covering once you are seated at your table but must replace it when moving around the building.

Face coverings are used to reduce the spread of droplets, but are not a replacement for social distancing, so we ask that you maintain a suitable distance between yourself and other visitors, staff members and volunteers. Please also be mindful that there are some circumstances where people may not be able to wear a face covering and these reasons may not be visible to others.

We ask for your cooperation on this matter as we are proud to be a Covid-secure venue but, without compliance from our visitors, our ability to remain open would be in question which would jeopardise the future of the Corn Exchange.

More information on the use of face coverings is available here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
