A brand-new season of films comes to Corn Exchange Newbury Cinema this autumn

Our latest selection of films is now on sale.

From Austen adaptations to dark comedies, and family favourites too - there is something for everyone to enjoy at the Corn Exchange Cinema this season.

Sense and Sensibility (2026) (U)

See the latest adaptation of Jane Austen’s iconic tale starring Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People).  This charming, witty, and deeply relatable story of love and sisterhood is directed by BAFTA Award nominee Georgia Oakley, from a script by bestselling author Diana Reid.

Bad Apples (15)

Saoirse Ronan stars as a primary school teacher who is pushed to the edge when one student gets out of hand. With her career in question and the child's behaviour spiralling, she makes a series of bad decisions that lead to her accidentally taking and locking this 'bad apple' in her home. 

Practical Magic 2 (12A)

Embrace the spooky season with the return of Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman in Practical Magic 2. The Owens sisters must confront the dark curse that threatens to unravel their family once and for all in a must-see cinematic event of fun, magic and mayhem.

Queen at Sea (15)

Winner of the Silver Bear Jury Prize, Queen at Sea takes a look at dementia, ageing and the care required when someone can no longer care for themselves. 

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (PG)

Follow Harry Potter's third year at Hogwarts, where he faces new challenges when Voldemort's disciple Sirius Black escapes from prison. With his best friends, Harry masters advanced magic, crosses the barriers of time and changes the course of more than one life.
