Important update as we move into Plan B
Following the government’s announcement that the country will be moving into Plan B, we can confirm that the Corn Exchange’s pantomime, Cinderella, will be going ahead as planned.
In line with government regulations, we have updated our visitor information and face coverings will be mandatory for all those aged 11 and over whilst in our buildings. This includes while visitors are watching a film or performance or visiting an exhibition.
We are also requesting that everyone aged 18 and over watching a performance or film or visiting an exhibition shows evidence of double vaccination status or a negative lateral flow test taken in the 24 hours prior to the visit.
For our Festival of Light procession on Sunday 12 December, this year we have moved the event slightly later and asked those attending to book tickets so that we can control attendance better. Although this event takes place outdoors, we are recommending that face coverings are worn (unless exempt) and we would also advise taking a lateral flow test before attending. It is very important that only those with pre-booked tickets attend.
In accordance with Plan B, staff members who do not have to do their jobs from the building will be working from home where possible.
