Easter Events for all the family

We have plenty to keep the whole family entertained during the Easter holidays at the Corn Exchange & New Greenham Arts.

From spectacular live shows to workshops and activities for children of all ages, there’s something for everyone!

For families with children ages 3+, Nearly There Yet theatre will present a fast-paced acrobatic circus show that humorously explores topics such as sharing in The Party(Thursday 13 April). If your little ones aged 5+ feel inspired by the tricks they see, they can try their hand at circus skills such as juggling, unicycling and floor based acrobatics, in a specially run Circus Games workshop after the show.

Buckle up for an exciting space adventure in the stage adaptation of David Walliams’ children’s book,The First Hippo on the Moon (Sunday 23 & Monday 24 April), which features a whole host of colourful animal puppets, live music and laughter aplenty, and is perfect for ages 3+.

Families can sing along in Nick Cope’s Family Musicsession on Saturday 15 April, or head on up to New Greenham Arts to create spring themed crafts (and a whole lot of mess!) at Mega Make & Do (Thursday 20 April) – both activities are suitable for ages 3 – 8 years old.

For a show that will wow the whole family, pop along and see the Amazing Bubble Man (Tuesday 18 April), as he conjures mesmerising, bubbly creations such as volcanoes, tornados and trampolines before your very eyes. And for young scientists aged 6+, Brainiac Live! (Saturday 22 April) will explode some of the mysteries of science with their breathtaking stunts and love of pyrotechnics.
