Summer half term in the Learning Centre

The sun is shining and the May Half Term is almost upon us! Come along to our Make and Do Holiday Club, from Tuesday 29 May to Friday 1 June, for a world of creative fun that will keep boredom at bay!

Start the week by making new friends At the Zoo on Tuesday where we will be making paper-chain snakes – let’s ssssseeee how long your sssnaake can be!

Wednesday is Dinosaur themed and our highlight of the day will certainly be Mega Craft, where there will be T-Rexs and Stegosauruses galore!

Join us Beside the Sea on Thursday, where after lunch we’ll settle down to watch Finding Dory – just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming….

And on Friday we’ll be going Into The Woods, with lots of games in the morning and forest building in the afternoon.

“But what’s on in June?” we hear you ask! Our Learning Centre is jam-packed with activities for children up to the age of 8.

Kicking off the month on Saturday 2 June, is Nick Cope with his Family Music session in the Corn Exchange auditorium. Start the weekend with a song and a dance in the morning before heading out to soak up the sun.

On Monday 4 June, our 4-week Infant Massage course starts. Led by IAIM practitioner Caz Campbell, this is the perfect opportunity for families with babies who are not yet crawling to bond with their little one.

Tuesdays host our ever-popular Rhyme and Shine sessions! Suitable for families with children under 2, we highly recommend you book in advance.

If your little one is more of a mover than a maker then Toddler Dance is just for them! Come along on Wednesday mornings for a boogie with simple story-songs and lots of laughing – parents and carers can join in too.

Open the door to Story Store! Join Rosanna from Debutots on Thursday mornings and go on a different adventure each week. These sessions are magical for children up to the age of 5 to engage in reading in a multi-sensory environment.

If you have any questions about any of the above, don’t be afraid to get in touch with our Learning and Participation team by emailing getinvolved@cornexchangenew.co.uk
